ROE BUCK HUNTING

Roebuck hunting in Poland takes place from May 11th to September 30th. However, there are two periods when hunting results are best:

Firstly, at the beginning of the roe deer hunting season, i.e., in the second half of May, when the bucks move onto fresh green grass. At this time, the vegetation in the fields is still relatively low, making the bucks very visible and contributing to effective hunting.

Secondly, the rutting season, which usually lasts from mid-July to mid-August. Fighting and competing bucks can be attracted during this time, making this hunt very exciting. There is a much greater chance of harvesting older and stronger bucks, which are then very active.

Firstly, at the beginning of the rutting season, i.e., in the second half of May, when the bucks are active and engaged in the rut. We have hunting grounds in Warmia and Masuria, where we are also based, as well as in central Poland (Masovia – the greater Warsaw and Płock area), where the strongest trophies, weighing over 700g gross, can be found.
